Barbarella Focaccia is a new Italian spot run by the same owners as the Italian restaurant Barbarella. Here, you can enjoy delicious focaccias to eat there or take away. They also have a small terrace, and it’s the kind of place I’ve been hoping to see in Antwerp! It’s a charming, welcoming place, perfect for a quick lunch.

Focaccia is one of the oldest types of bread, known for its fluffy texture and a bit of olive oil, making it perfect for all kinds of toppings. They offer six different focaccias and a few desserts. We tried the mortadella and porchetta tonnata focaccias, and the porchetta was definitely my favorite!

They also have a selection of Italian products in-store, like truffle oil, tapenade, crackers, and Italian wines. The interior is simple yet Italian, with a lovely bar displaying delicious cured meats.
