Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being invited to Nectar, an incredible culinary destination in the heart of Paris. Located in the 9th arrondissement, Nectar is a hidden gem within Maison Mère, a charming hotel that brings a creative twist to classic French cuisine, using fresh seasonal ingredients and subtle global influences.
My friend and I enjoyed the full tasting menu with perfectly paired wines, allowing us to fully experience the chef’s artistry. Each dish offered a new surprise, and the dessert stood out: a delicate chocolate creation infused with pollen and a fig with hibiscus-shiso that was truly remarkable. We opted for the Apis menu, which took us on an amazing journey of flavors, with each course thought fully paired with wine to elevate the experience.
One of the highlights was the welcoming atmosphere and attentive hospitality. The open bar allowed us to watch the talented kitchen team in action, bringing each dish to life with precision and care. The cozy, modern interior has a warm ambiance that invites you to savor every moment, and the friendly staff provided detailed explanations of each course and pairing.
We enjoyed every minute at Nectar. For anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Paris, Nectar is a must-visit, an adventure through French gastronomy with a fresh, international twist.
